As the states in our region strive to meet ambitious climate goals and adapt to the challenges climate change poses, this panel will discuss the current state of climate affairs in the region and the need for progress in the future. Public dollars are beginning to flow towards transformative projects that will allow us to transition towards a clean energy future, efforts to ensure the resilience of our communities are taking shape, and often unprecedented commitments are being made to invest in communities that have disproportionately borne the burden of environmental injustice. This panel will explore how we can ensure that public and private decision-makers take the right steps at this critical time to move the region to a more sustainable future.
