Build Gateway Now Coalition Statement on Improved Federal Transit Administration Project Rating

share

NEW YORK, NY — The following statement can be attributed to Brian Fritsch, Manager, Build Gateway Now Coalition.

“The Build Gateway Now Coalition is delighted that the Hudson Tunnel project has received a medium-high rating from the Federal Transit Administration that will take it one step closer to receiving federal funding. We applaud the Biden Administration, Majority Leader Schumer, and the Congressional Delegations from New York and New Jersey for continuing to advocate on behalf of the project and ensuring it moves forward quickly and efficiently. Their work, coupled with the deep commitments from Governor Murphy, Governor Hochul, and all Gateway Program partners, will soon enable us to get shovels in the ground and put residents to work on the nation’s most urgent infrastructure project.”
