Yesterday’s US District Court ruling that the Trump Administration’s Executive Memorandum halting all authorizations needed to develop and operate wind energy projects was ​“arbitrary and capricious and contrary to law” is a victory for the rule of law and justification for the 17 states, District of Columbia, and Alliance for Clean Energy which brought the suit, as well as the advocates who have been steadfastly fighting for the right to develop clean, renewable energy like offshore wind. The shortest path to abundant, clean, stable, reliable, ready-to-build energy is through offshore wind and RPA strongly supports this ruling and will continue to push for progress in achieving a clean energy future.
