As the New Jersey Associate for RPA, Olivia assists with public policy, advocacy, and fundraising in the Garden State. She works closely with the New Jersey Director, as well as the research and communications teams, to advance key initiatives that improve mobility, climate resilience, community development, and housing throughout the state of New Jersey. Her current work includes campaigns to improve funding for NJ Transit, to legalize accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and to make roads safer for cyclists and pedestrians.

Before joining RPA, Olivia worked at Greener by Design, LLC as the Project Manager for the Planning Division where she worked on client-based projects that focused on open space preservation, affordable housing, and climate resiliency, the most notable being the Essex Hudson Greenway. She learned the intricacies of environmental regulation and politics in state government through her experiences in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s local government office as well as in the office of former Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin.

Though a staunch NJ local, Olivia has familial ties with New York City as it was the place many of her family members moved to in order to find better opportunities. She feels passionate about continuing to make the region, particularly New Jersey, the best place to live, work, and play. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior with a minor in Sustainability from Rutgers University’s School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
