A vital link in the nation’s economy, the New York—New Jersey—Connecticut Urban Region contributes one-eighth of the Gross National Product. This pioneering study of interlocking accounts for the Region traces the flow of funds through income, consumption, and production within the regional economy, and between the region and the rest of the nation. Much of the information gathered and analyzed here has never been presented in such a systematic and comprehensive form.
