In-Bound Rail Passenger Distribution by Station and Selected Characteristics of On-Rail Communities is the second in a series of reports entitled Transportation and Land Use in Northern New Jersey. These reports are compiled in connection with the work program of the New Jersey Committee’s Transportation Subcommittee to provide the necessary research data for its study and analysis of problems inherent in the development of alternatives for an improved regional transportation network. Subsequent reports will explore, graphically and statistically, correlations between existing auto, bus and rail passenger travel patterns and trends in population growth and land use as they affect future transportation requirements.
