There are few public servants with a more distinguished record or comprehensive overview of New York City’s economy than Tony. At every stop in his illustrious career — from Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to First Deputy Mayor — he has led with integrity and vision and crafted strategies that will lift all residents and provide for long-term prosperity.
At Regional Plan Association, we have benefited enormously from Tony’s dedicated board service, including as a member of the RPA Executive Committee, Vice Chair, and Co-Chair of the Search Committee for a new Chair. Again and again, Tony answers the call and provides the leadership and counsel we need. Congratulations to him and Mayor Mamdani for this outstanding appointment.”
