RPA applauds the passage of the OneLIC Neighborhood Plan. The plan and proposed actions will deliver nearly 15,000 new homes, including up to 4,800 permanently affordable homes, in addition to the creation of new jobs, community investments, and a resilient waterfront. This forward-looking land use and zoning plan will shape a more vibrant, resilient, and inclusive Long Island City. We commend the City Council and the Department of City Planning for developing this rezoning to deliver affordable housing and investments and look forward to its implementation.
