At RPA’s second annual Fall Benefit, Celebrate the Tri-State, we honored the World Trade Center Master Plan as the 2019 Project of the Year. Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, John Whitehead led the effort to rebuild the World Trade Center site and revitalize downtown Manhattan as Founding Chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
During our Benefit, this special video paid tribute to John’s leadership and legacy. The 2019 Project of the Year award was given to Tribeca Film Institute Managing Director David Earls on behalf of his late grandfather, John Whitehead and Larry Silverstein, Chairman of Silverstein Properties.
