Nick Kantor joined Regional Plan Association in January 2025 as the DesegregateCT Director, leading a statewide program to enact equitable and sustainable land use policies in Connecticut.
Nick has served on Norwalk’s Planning and Zoning Commission for over 5 years, advocating for improved local and state policies and driving sustainability initiatives. As a member of the commission, Nick was a leader in pushing for pro-homes, equity and sustainability in Norwalk’s recent zoning regulations rewrite. As a commissioner, Nick has served on a variety of advisory committees including Norwalk’s Affordable Housing Action Plan and the South Norwalk Resiliency Plan.
With over a decade of experience in Tech and Financial Services working at Bridgewater Associates and Paragon Intel, Nick brings experience collaborating with varied stakeholders to drive change. A resident of Norwalk, Nick is also active in a variety of local volunteer and political groups, including Sustainable Streets Norwalk.
Nick graduated from The College of William & Mary majoring in Government and minoring in Chinese Language & Culture.
