RPA is pleased to welcome seven new members to our Board of Directors. While they represent a diverse range of experience, from foundation work to finance to technology and infrastructure advising, they share a desire to improve the New York metropolitan region. We are excited to bring these outstanding individuals on board and look forward to collaborating with them to advance the recommendations of our Fourth Regional Plan and make the region work for all of us. Alix Anfang
Senior Communications & Policy Manager, Uber
Alix began working at Uber in April of 2015 and helped guide the company through numerous regulatory battles in New York City (NYC) and beyond. She currently manages policy and communications for the North region which extends from the midwest to New England. Previously, Alix worked for SKDKnickerbocker, where she did everything from manage the office to designing direct mail pieces for the future President Barack Obama. She eventually went on to be the spokesperson for Rep. Carolyn Maloney’s first tough Congressional race in years, when she was challenged by Reshma Saujani. She also served as a press secretary for Eric Schneiderman’s race for Attorney General. In her free time, Alix loves to cook, take her 1-year old son to the farmers’ market and rewatch West Wing.
Vincent Cassano
Senior Director, JACOBS Engineering
Vincent is a Senior Director at JACOBS responsible for the growth and development of its NYC Transportation portfolio. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University. He has 20 years of engineering consulting experience delivering complex projects and programs in the NYC transportation and infrastructure market. Vincent has specific expertise in planning, design and management of major redevelopment programs including aviation and rail transit projects. He is committed to improving NYCs infrastructure to solve complex challenges like, traffic congestion, resiliency, and mobility in urban centers to provide a more livable community for the future.
Leecia Eve
Vice President of Public Policy, Verizon
Leecia serves as Vice President of Public Policy at Verizon, focused on driving Verizon’s deployment of 5G in the New York metro region. She previously served as Vice President for State Government Affairs. Before joining Verizon, Leecia served as the Deputy Secretary for Economic Development for New York, and was the chief economic development advisor to Governor Andrew Cuomo. Previously, Ms. Eve served as Senate Counsel and Homeland Security Advisor to then-Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and as Counsel to then-Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. She also served as Vice President for Policy of the No Limits Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that promoted economic issues at home and abroad and advocated for transforming American foreign policy around the world, including advancing the rights of women.
Miguel Gamiño Jr.
Executive Vice President for Global Cities, Mastercard
In his role as Executive Vice President, Global Cities, Miguel leads Mastercard’s global activities with cities and the City Possible platform, forming public-private partnerships that drive civic efficiency, inclusivity, equality and ultimately better quality of life. Prior to joining Mastercard, Miguel served as the Chief Technology Officer of New York City, leading the Mayor’s Office of The CTO. Miguel pioneered a new civic engagement and innovation platform for NYC and stood as a voice of leadership in tech policy, ensuring that technology helped NYC become the Fairest Big City in America. Prior to life in the public sector, Miguel was an entrepreneur, developing some of the earliest cloud-based services and launching two companies based in El Paso, TX and Silicon Valley, CA operating nationwide.
Michael Keenan
Senior Vice President, Market Executive New York / Long Island Commercial Banking, Wells Fargo
Mike is a Senior Vice President and Market Executive for Wells Fargo Commercial Banking. He leads teams of bankers located in New York City and Long Island with a focus on companies with revenues in excess of $10 million. He is responsible for coordinating the delivery of Wells Fargo’s capabilities in a manner that helps customers achieve their goals and objectives. Mike has been a banker in the New York metropolitan area for more than 30 years, and previously worked at Bank of America and its predecessor banks as market executive responsible for Long Island. He joined Wells Fargo in 2007. He has been honored by the Family and Children’s Association, Arthritis Foundation, Long Island Philharmonic and Tilles Center.
Katy Knight
Executive Director, Siegel Family Endowment
Katy Knight is the Executive Director of Siegel Family Endowment, a foundation focused on understanding and shaping the impact of technology on society. Katy joined SFE in 2017 as Deputy Executive Director, and brings a diverse range of professional experience to the role drawn from her previous endeavors in education, technology, and community-based organizations. Before joining SFE, Katy worked on community engagement at financial sciences company Two Sigma. Her earlier career includes several years at Google, most notably on the public affairs team. Deeply passionate about the power of local politics and civic engagement, Katy previously served on her local Community Board in Queens, New York and earned recognition in 2015 as a 40 Under 40 Rising Star in City & State.
Sue Lee
Senior Managing Director, Ernst & Young
Sue Lee is a Senior Managing Director with Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors, LLC (EYIA). Sue provides public agencies with strategic and financial advice on alternative project delivery regulation; financial structuring; procurements; and project implementation. Her recent experience includes advising the Gateway Program Development Corporation on the Gateway Program, Los Angeles World Airports on its automated people mover and consolidated rental car facility P3 projects at LAX, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, and several state DOTs. Sue received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
