Statement on Governor Phil Murphy's "Next New Jersey" initiatives

share

A statement from RPA Senior Fellow Dale Bryk:

“RPA strongly supports the “Next New Jersey” initiatives and goals outlined by Governor Murphy. All of the measures announced today are essential steps toward ensuring New Jersey residents have clean air and a healthy environment in which to live and thrive. Achieving 100% clean energy by 2035 is a bold and necessary step to aggressively address climate change. This announcement, paired with measures that bolster the state’s clean energy sector will make it easier to electrify our buildings, homes, and vehicles. We applaud Governor Murphy and his administration for utilizing federal funding for this effort and pushing for transformative climate solutions now.”
