Regional Plan Association is excited to invite you to the first public event of the Healthy Regions Planning Exchange. The Planning Exchange was founded in 2018 as a national network of planners, practitioners, advocates, and community-based representatives working towards health and racial equity in regional planning.
The event will spotlight how the Exchange is addressing racial and health inequities through legislation, base building, communications, and culture change. Whether it’s work for more stable housing, transportation investments that prioritize BIPOC communities, or community development work to address systemic poverty, the event will present tangible progress towards healthier communities, and discuss the challenges left to overcome.
The work is even more relevant as billions of dollars will start to flow into metro areas for infrastructure investments. Please join us Thursday, December 2nd from 1-2:30pm for this timely discussion.
