Christina Kata assists with campaigns, fundraising, and outreach in New Jersey. Previously, as Special Projects Associate, she provided support for RPA’s State Programs & Advocacy team and Energy & Environment program. Christina is also responsible for digitizing and cataloging RPA’s historic reports, memos, and other materials, and she worked with RPA’s Communications team to develop an interactive timeline of the organization.
Christina joined RPA as an Executive Assistant in 2017. During her first two years at RPA, she helped organize more than 60 special events, including guest lectures, infrastructure tours, visits from international delegations, and receptions for donors. Christina was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 as magna cum laude with a B.A. with Honors in Middle East Studies and a B.A. in Health & Human Biology. She has a Certificate in Public Policy from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
