As Special Projects Associate, Christina Kata supports a number of strategic initiatives. She works closely with RPA’s State Programs & Advocacy team, assisting with campaigns, fundraising, and outreach in New Jersey and Connecticut. She also provides administrative and research support for RPA’s Energy Program and the New City Parks initiative. Christina is responsible for digitizing and cataloging RPA’s historical reports, maps, and other materials, and she worked with RPA’s Communications team to develop an interactive timeline of the organization.

Christina joined RPA as an Executive Assistant in 2017. During her first two years at RPA, she helped organize more than 60 special events, including guest lectures, infrastructure tours, visits from international delegations, and receptions for donors. Christina was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 as magna cum laude with a B.A. with Honors in Middle East Studies and a B.A. in Health & Human Biology.
