Christina Kata, AICP, is RPA’s Senior Policy Associate. She assists with campaigns, fundraising, and outreach in New Jersey.

Previously, as Special Projects Associate, she provided support for RPA’s State Programs & Advocacy team and Energy & Environment program. Christina is also responsible for digitizing and cataloging RPA’s historic reports, memos, and other materials, and she worked with RPA’s Communications team to develop an interactive timeline of the organization.

Christina was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Brown University in 2014 as magna cum laude with a B.A. with Honors in Middle East Studies and a B.A. in Health & Human Biology. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is in the process of completing her Master of Public Affairs and Politics from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University, where she previously obtained a Certificate in Public Policy. Christina also serves as a member of the Montclair Housing Commission.
