Join us on Monday, August 7th from 12pm - 1pm to learn how to make communities in New Jersey more age-friendly by addressing our transportation network.
Age-friendly towns have programs and physical infrastructure to support active, independent living and enable residents to safely engage in social and civic activities. Affordable, reliable transportation systems and well-designed streets can improve safety, increase access to community hubs, shops, and services, and reduce isolation for residents.
Registrants will gain a working knowledge of funding and governance structures and be encouraged to work on their own campaigns to improve the transportation network in their communities.
