As our country continues to confront its long history of institutional racism and discrimination, this past legislative session the State of Connecticut took a meaningful step forward towards making housing more accessible and affordable for residents of all backgrounds with the signing of zoning reform bill HB6107 into law.
While New York has started similar efforts with housing bills introduced in previous sessions, the 2022 legislative session is New York’s moment to make historic and necessary reforms.
