Kevin Monte de Ramos is the bureau chief for Energy Efficiency and Building Decarbonization at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, where he leads a team to oversee New Jersey’s energy efficiency and building decarbonization portfolio; advising utility commissioners and managing operations over this multi-billion dollar portfolio.

Previously, he served as a consultant and leader in clean energy, having worked with utilities, government services, and industry in the U.S. and Canada.

His expertise in data analytics, engagement and marketing strategy, and organizational leadership have helped him support EV infrastructure, electric utility modernization, and energy access for low-income customers.
