The Build Gateway Now coalition is excited to again be celebrating a momentous groundbreaking for the Hudson Tunnel Project – this time in New Jersey on the critical Tonnelle Avenue Bridge and Utility Relocation Project. Having just celebrated the groundbreaking at Hudson Yards Concrete Casing, we can now say that construction has started on both sides of the river and the Hudson Tunnel Project is being built. This would not be possible without the continued cooperation between federal and state agencies, project leaders, stakeholders and advocates. Congratulations to Governors Murphy and Hochul, Secretary Buttigieg and the Gateway Development Commission on this next step forward!
