The second part of “Homes on Track: Connecticut” builds on this momentum by presenting a constructive analytical framework to identify the potential of commuter rail and bus rapid transit areas to support TOCs across the state. The report classifies and visualizes the many aspects of built form and transportation interactions along the state’s rail and bus rapid transit network and estimates relative opportunity levels by location. The scoring system is intended to inform the scope of planning efforts, the allocation of infrastructure-related funding, and the development of programs to facilitate more TOCs statewide.
