The Women+ of Color in Transportation and Climate Infrastructure network (WOC+) is a growing community for women and gender-nonconforming people of color working across transportation, climate, infrastructure, planning, policy, advocacy, research, and community development.
WOC+ creates intentional space for members to build relationships, share knowledge, support one another, and strengthen leadership across fields that are deeply connected but often siloed.
The network is not a traditional professional association or public-facing advocacy campaign. It is a space for connection and collective support. Members are invited to participate in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable, whether by attending events, sharing resources, mentoring peers, making introductions, or helping shape future programming.
WOC+ prioritizes
Safety and trust among members
Relationship-building over transaction
Cross-generational and cross-sector learning
Leadership development for women and gender-nonconforming people of color
Collaboration between transportation and climate fields
A regional focus across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic
WOC+ welcomes women and gender-nonconforming people of color who work at the intersection of transportation, climate, and infrastructure and are interested in building community, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another.
New members are invited through a simple interest and referral process. People interested in joining may complete the form below, and a member of the network will follow up.
