Statement on Confirmation of US Bureau of Ocean Management Director Amanda Lefton

share

NEW YORK, NY - The following statement can be attributed to Rob Freudenberg, Vice President for Energy & Environment, Regional Plan Association.

We are thrilled to learn Amanda Lefton is taking the helm at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. Lefton’s New York roots and deep knowledge are a great fit for the Biden Administration’s bold energy and climate goals. We look forward to working closely with BOEM and anticipate the opening of new lease areas off our region’s coast that will ensure a steady source of clean, renewable energy and boost a new industry onshore.
