RPA is headed downtown. This winter, we’re relocating our headquarters to One Whitehall Street in Lower Manhattan.
“It’s exciting to be joining the Lower Manhattan community, which has been attracting such a diverse array of businesses in the past few years,” said RPA President Tom Wright. “We look forward to holding regular public events in the new space. The timing couldn’t be better, since we will be sharing a lot of new work next year as part of the Fourth Regional Plan.”
RPA staff member Emily Thenhaus shared Wright’s sentiments about RPA’s move downtown. “Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city. Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty. How can you lose? The lights are much brighter there. You can forget all your troubles and forget all your cares and go downtown.”
