David M. Daly is president of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), a position he has held since in October 2017. PSE&G is New Jersey’s oldest and largest regulated gas and electric delivery utility, serving approximately 2.4 million customers, nearly three-quarters of the state’s population. Mr. Daly is a member of PSEG’s Executive Officer Group.

Previously Mr. Daly served as president and COO - PSEG Utilities and Clean Energy Ventures with oversight of the company’s utility operations as well as development of its clean energy and renewable generation business. He also served as president and chief operating officer of PSEG Long Island, vice president - asset management and centralized services, and vice president of energy acquisition and technology. Since joining PSE&G in 1983, Mr. Daly has held a variety of positions in operations and support services, including fossil generation plant operations, utility operations services, electric transmission planning, and corporate strategy. He also served as a senior consultant at several industry consulting firms earlier in his career.

Mr. Daly received his electrical engineering degree from the State University of New York Maritime College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University. He serves on the boards of the American Gas Association, the New Jersey Utilities Association, Liberty Science Center, St. Vincent Academy and Saint Elizabeth University.
